Hull City midfielder Robert Koren is confident the club have what it takes to stay in the Premier League next season. Steve Bruce's side finished second in the regular Championship season to ensure a return to the top flight after a three-year absence. It will only be their third campaign in the Premier League after an eventful two-year stay in the top division between 2008 and 2010. Koren, who joined the club from West Brom three years ago, insists they are more than capable of holding their own amongst the big boys next season. "Survival is our main goal and we all believe that we can make it," Koren told Sportal. "But it is too early to speak about that. Now we just want to enjoy what we achieved this season. "I'm sure we have to lift everything to a higher level. The board will have to make sure we strengthen the team. "Now we have to rest and then prepare well for the new season." Troy Deeney's 97th-minute winner, 20 seconds after Manuel Almunia saved Anthony Knockaert's penalty, mirrored the events at Griffin Park a fortnight earlier. Dean was in the Brentford side who were a last-minute spot-kick from securing promotion, only for Marcello Trotta to hit the crossbar and Doncaster to break clear and score at the other end to clinch the League One title. The Bees' promotion bid is still alive, however, as they prepare for the play-off final against Yeovil on Sunday. Defender Dean wrote on Twitter: "Unbelievable scenes at Watford yesterday. Never thought I would see anything like that ever again after the Doncaster game. Crazy year!" The 37-year-old made 19 appearances for Boro last season and won his place in the side back from rival Steven Arnold for the final two matches. He has played more than 200 games for the club since joining in 2008. In that time Day has lifted the FA Trophy at Wembley and helped Boro to promotion from the Blue Square Premier Division and League Two.
