On the heels of what's probably the most successful year in sports in Alabama history, winning four national championships and all, the Crimson Tide have been nominated for ESPYs in three categories.

Four-Star Alabama committed running back Tyren Jones traveled across the country from Marietta, Ga. over weekend. Jones and his teammates from throughout the state of Georgia were in Los Angeles participating in numerous 7 on 7 tournaments. Alabama golfer Brooke Pancake has been named SEC Female Athlete of the Year, the conference announced Thursday. With her four-foot putt on the final hole, Pancake helped lead the Crimson Tide to their first-ever national title in May. Kentucky's Anthony Davis was named the conference's Male Athlete of the Year.
It’s a cliche to say that Alabama Coach Nick Saban reloads rather than rebuilds, but it is not inaccurate to say that Saban has stockpiled some very good players in anticipation of a load of Crimson Tiders heading off to the NFL each year.
