MSF's original post speculating about the reasons for Raul Ibanez's hot start in 2009 created a firestorm of controversy, but even I admit that the post did not go as far as it could have in researching the topic. Here, I ammend my original post with more statistical evidence in an attempt to offer further objective explanataion for Ibanez's torrid beginning in 2009.
Even with more evidence to explain Ibanez's fast start, it's still up to each person individually to decide if they are at a point where they can trust baseball players again.
