The longer upstart Florida Gulf Coast continues to play in the NCAA Tournament, the more we hear about the backstory of Eagles head coach Andy Enfield and his supermodel wife, Amanda Marcum. I would say America is totally okay with that. The latest details of their fairy tale romance involve a proposal using Krispy Kreme doughnuts and a trip to Taco Bell for their first date. For the couple's first official date, which came 10 years ago, Enfield decided to woo Marcum by treating her to a St. John's NIT game. Oh, and dinner at good old Taco Bell afterward, too. So, why did Enfield opt for the fast food establishment? Well, because he wasn't familiar with the eateries in Queens, and Taco Bell was the only restaurant still open that late.Apparently, Marcum was head over heels after the encounter. Just six months later, Enfield proposed to Marcum by squeezing the engagement ring in between two Krispy Kreme doughnuts and inside of the box. She said yes, and the rest is history. Fast forward to 2013 and the two are the talk of the country right now.FGCU became the first team in tournament history to advance to the Sweet 16 as a 15 seed by downing San Diego State on Sunday. They earned their way into the Round of 32 by upsetting second-seeded Georgetown in the Round of 64.Via USA TODAY
