Arkansas State picked up a commitment from in-state lineman Austin Moreton. Moreton, who was previously committed to UCA, switched his pledge to play for Gus Malzahn and the Red Wolves.

Arkansas State got double-digit scoring efforts from three players, but the North Texas Mean Green (13-9, 6-3) avenged a Jan. 7 loss to ASU with a 68-54 decision over the Red Wolves Saturday afternoon in Sun Belt Conference women's basketball action at the Super Pit.
