After Alabama had what ESPN calls an “epic fall”, the lone two SEC teams with any legitimate shot at the BCS Championship Game are the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Georgia Bulldogs–although it’s a long shot for both given their positions at No.’s 4 and 5 respectively. Georgia scored a 38-0 win over the hapless Auburn Tigers this weekend, on the road, while Alabama lost to Texas A&M in Tuscaloosa. That said, even with Alabama having lost to Texas A&M, they remain in striking distance of the BCS at No. 4 and Georgia can increase their chances of at least entertaining the conversation with a win over Alabama in the SEC Championship Game–which, as of now, the winner of that game is projected to end up playing in “The Sugar Bowl”. As of now it would appear that the best hope for Georgia or Alabama is for either of the two to win out, and then hope that two of the top three fall–something that most feel is a long shot given who the Top 3 (Kansas State, Oregon, and Notre Dame) have...
