ON SATURDAY, AN underdog became an undertaker. Oregon State knocked out No.19 ranked UCLA in a donnybrook in the Rose Bowl - a game that should remove a whole lot of the early season skepticism surrounding Oregon State. Until today’s victory, the Beavs were the only team in the nation to have played in but one game heading into Week Four. just think, we have at least 10 more weeks...

TOP 25, HERE COME THE BEAVS

IT WAS No. 19 UCLA who was supposed to have the high-powered offense, but instead Oregon State had nearly 400 passing yards in the Rose Bowl Saturday. It was UCLA who was supposed to have a stout rushing defense whose stats had been skewed by running QBs, but it was Oregon State who was punching people in the mouth down in the trenches. At the end of the day, Oregon State was 2-0 and Top 25 bound.
