Alex Carrington, the Bills' third-round pick, has signed a four-year deal with the team. The contract reportedly also includes a $870,000 signing bonus.
The 6'5", 280 pound defensive end recorded 21.5 sacks (nine last year) in his four years at Arkansas State, including 40 tackles for losses. According to the National Football Post, the total base amount of the contract is $1.79 million ($320K in year one, $405K, $490K and $505K in the following three years) with a escalator clause in the fourth year that can increase its value.
With Carrington's signing, only second-round selection Torell Troup and first-round pick CJ Spiller are the only Bills draft picks yet to be placed under contract.
