Blatche In, McGuire out

Mild surprise out here in Vegas, as Dominic McGuire emerged from the locker room of the Thomas & Mack Center in street clothes, and Andray Blatche came out in uniform. The team can only dress four NBA vets, and JaVale McGee, Javaris Crittenton, Nick Young and Blatche will fill those spots. Meanwhile, this is Blatche's fourth time playing in Summer League, which means he should graduate pretty soon. Before the game against the Cleveland Cavaliers began, McGuire joked about how much Blatche would be shooting, but the veteran demurred. "I'm just trying to distribute and get in shape," Blatche said with a smile. "I don't need to score, that's for the younger guys." There were several twinkles in his eye, though, and he's spent the warm-up period launching three pointers, so we'll see.
