Bo Jackson is one of the greatest athletes of our time.  Famous for his “Bo Knows” commercials, one thing Jackson knows is what it takes to return from severe injury. Jackson made an amazing comeback in 1993 from  hip-replacement surgery, after being hurt with the Oakland Raiders.  Jackson says he doesn’t watch much sports these days, but is aware of Derrick Rose and his battle to return from ACL surgery. Jackson has a message for Rose, and according to ESPN’s Chicago Bulls Report, its simply “don’t try to be superman.” “Derrick Rose or any athlete will get back on the playing field or on the court when he knows that he is ready,” Jackson said Thursday. “I would say don’t try to be Superman and try to please the public. Take your time, heal, come back and do what you have to because if something goes out again, guess what …” “The public is still going to be out there wanting more and more and more,” he said. “Take care of yourself first. Take care of your family and then worry about what else is out there. Listen to him Derrick, because Bo Knows severe injury.

Best of Joakim Noah's historic triple-double

Recording his second triple-double of the season, Joakim Noah is the first Bulls since Artis Gilmore in 1977 to have a points-rebounds-blocks triple-double, as well as the first player since 1998 (Shawn Bradley) to put up at least 20 points, 20 rebounds and 10 blocks. How about he’s the first player in NBA history with 20+ points, 20+ rebounds, 10 blocks and 65% shooting from...

Nate Robinson gets special locker in New Orleans arena (Picture)

Last week, the Chicago Bulls traveled to New Orleans to face the Hornets and it appears that someone decided to pull off an epic prank on Bulls guard Nate Robinson.Robinson (who is famous for his 5'9 height) arrived at New Orleans Arena to the below scene of his locker being adjusted to a shorter height:(Courtesy of Holdout Sports/Image via @RipCity3232)

Shootaround: Small surprises

Brooklyn Nets (34-25) vs. Chicago Bulls (33-25) 8 p.m. At this point in the season it is the little surprises that have tom ake a coach very happy. The little things like scoring a big victory, getting another team within your sights in the Playoff race and seeing great individual performances. A perfectionist like Tom Thibodeau probably does not care so much about...

If There’s A Flood, Noah Won’t Let Anyone From Philly Into His Ark

So one of my favorite directors, Darren Aronofsky, is working on a new movie Noah that is going to come out some time in 2014.  Yeah, it’s about the dude in the “we’re gonna need animals in this boat”, not “we’re gonna need a bigger boat.”  Russell Crowe is going to be Noah.  Hmmmm.  (Did you know “hm” can be played in scrabble and Words With Friends?  Man...
