With Air Force set to take on Rice in the Armed Forces Bowl on December 29th it is time to start looking at the threat that the Owls present. There will be a look at the keys to the game nearer the to game time, but before then we are going to find the strengths and weaknesses of their offense, defense, and special teams. We have already covered the offense, now it is the turn of the Owls defense.
The Air Force football team went to the locker room at halftime feeling pretty good about itself. Rice could have allowed a discouraging second quarter to hijack its level of concentration, but the Owls impressively rebounded in the second half to score a decisive win over the Falcons.
