New HBU football coach Shealy ready to play

Cornell upsets Michigan reminder for BC-Air Force
Friday night Cornell -- a 4 seed -- upset Michigan in overtime. In a survive and advance formula everything is heightened. I hope Jerry York reminded his guys of that as BC gets ready to take on another plucky 4 seed in Air Force. The other higher seed to fall was Miami of Ohio. They were knocked out by UMass Lowell. Coming off a pair of road losses in Mountain West Conference play, the New Mexico men’s basketball team was in need of a confidence-building win. Air Force has fired Jeff Reynolds as men's basketball coach after five seasons.

Lobo women throttle Air Force 67-44
A complete game against visiting Air Force produced a complete win for the UNM women’s basketball team – it’s first in Mountain West Conference play this season. The Lobo women led from the outset to defeat the Falcons 67-44 before an announced crowd of 6,594 at The Pit Tuesday night.
