Found September 29, 2012 on Lacrosse The Web:
Lehigh was one of the surprises of last lacrosse season. It finished in the top-15 and had national runner-up Maryland on the ropes in the first-round of the NCAA tournament. The Mountain Hawks lose leading scorers David DiMaria and Dante Fantoni, but return goalie Matthew Poillon. So can the school duplicate that season? I don’t know, but I can break down the schedule.    Feb. 9: vs. Saint Joseph’s  -Should be a win. (W)   Feb. 16: at Villanova
-I think ‘Nova’s going to come into this season with a fury. This is not going to be an easy play to play in the second game of the season, especially on the road. (L)   Feb. 23: at Denver (Pioneer Face-Off Classic)
-This is an interesting matchup. The reason why I’m picking Denver is because it’s a long-way to go and in a place that a lot of these guys aren’t used to playing. (L)   Feb. 24: vs. Air Force (Pioneer Face-Off Classic)
-Even with the altitude they won’t lose to Air Force. (W)   Mar. 2: vs. VMI
 -…Yeah. (W)   Mar. 5: vs. Penn
-Another cake game at home, but hey, this team deserves after two straight in Colorado. (W)   Mar. 9: vs. Penn State (Neutral Site) -The Nittany Lions return a fantastic defense and ended last season on quite the run. That being said this will be a close game. (L)
   Mar. 16: at Army
 -Army’s good. Lehigh’s better. (W)   Mar. 19: vs. UMass
-Another interesting game. A lot of attention will be played Will Manny. I just don’t know who can matchup against him. (L)   Mar. 23: at Holy Cross
-No contest. (W)   Mar. 30: vs. Navy - Last year, Navy came into a matchup with Lehigh winners of four straight. It lost. I’ll take the Mountain Hawks. (W)   Apr. 6: vs. Colgate (Goodman Stadium)
-Peter Baum’s too good. (L)   Apr. 13: at Bucknell -The game was close last year and this time there’s no Fantoni to score the game winner. (L)   Apr. 20: vs. Lafayette -Snooze. (W).   So to recap, I have Lehigh finishing 8-6. I think they’ll finish in the top three of the Patriot League, possibly behind Colgate and Bucknell. It might not be the 2012 season, but this team certainly has an outside shout at an NCAA bid.
