You can’t win ‘em all, but you’d like to win as many as you can against a hated rival. The Bruins weren’t able to overcome the absence of Zdeno Chara in the third period of Sunday night’s loss to the Canadiens, allowing a one-goal lead to turn into a deficit while their captain sat in the sin bin. In a game filled with chippy play from start to finish, Brad Marchand appeared very much in his element, instigating like he normally does and earning the ire of many a Montreal fan. The Little Ball of Hate was also able to tally three assists, however, proving his worth and cementing himself once again as a valuable piece of the Bruins’ attack. In honor of Marchand’s three points, NESN Nation’s Dan Duquette is awarding him our “Hate the Habs” player of the game. Who’s yours?
