  Following a 10-sack season in 2011, Mark Anderson was handsomely rewarded with a four-year, $21 million contract, courtesy of the Buffalo Bills. After a disappointing 2012 campaign, in which he recorded 12 tackles, one sack and suffered a season-ending knee injury in a week five loss to the 49ers, Anderson is back on the market. After surrendering 435 points last season, the most in the AFC East, Buffalo welcomed a new regime, led by head coach Doug Marrone and tabbed Mike Pettine to be the team’s new defensive coordinator. For the Bills, it was time to move on from a player who no longer fit what they were trying to do defensively. The Patriots could stand to add another pass rusher as well as depth to their defensive line. The team has looked at several notable names including John Abraham who is still available.
