You hate to say that the best game of the season was opening day but for the Bulls I have no problem with that.  It wasn’t the cleanest, best played game but the Bulls might not have a better ending to a contest all year. It was a fantastic win that the Bulls can use as the starting point to their season.  But with all the talk from the offseason that went on with the Lakers what did this game mean for them? Well, far be it from me to get all dramatic but it is a sign of things to come for the Fakers.  They came in with questions about whether or not they were LA’s team anymore and they blew their shot to prove they still are.  The Bulls checked out for all but two minutes of the second half and still put the Lake-show on ice.  I mean when a game reminds you of Jason Statham’s acting career it can’t end well.  For the Lakers it didn’t. Quick hits: Bulls trailed by 11 entering the final 4 minutes of the contest. The Lakers missed 4 consecutive free throws to let the Bulls back in it....

2012 Chicago Bulls Look to Avoid Glass Ceiling

Of all the questions surrounding the Chicago Bulls this season, only one truly matters- can they get past the Miami Heat this year? Derrick Rose scored 22 points and hit a short go-ahead jumper with 4.8 seconds to play, and the Chicago Bulls rallied from an 11-point deficit in the final four minutes for a 88-87 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday. Luol Deng scored 21 points and blocked Kobe Bryant's short shot right before the buzzer as the Bulls hung on for a thrilling finish to both clubs' first-ever...

Long Two-Point Jumpers

I didn't want my first post of 2011-2012 season to be a complaining post, but too damn bad, haha.  It's just a minor issue I have.  With Derrick Rose, Carlos Boozer and Luol Deng, the Bulls should not take long two point jumpers as a main source of offense.  Through the first 72 minutes of the season, there have been a lot of long two's. The phrase that has been used...
