CAN YOU CALL THIS COACHING?

Posted July 29, 2013

WHAT is going ON here?!

Michael Vick "never learned how to hold a football".

Terrelle Pryor "never really knew how to throw a football before".

What exactly have the guys coaching these players been paid to do all this time? And how is it that defenses have had such a hard time stopping players who lack so many fundamentals? A QB who can't throw? A runner who can't hold a ball? I'm not sure who should be more embarrassed, the player, the coaches, or the defenses who couldn't stop them!

It makes you wonder just how many players aren't performing at maximum because they aren't getting the coaching.

  • I watched a couple of deaf sprinters training for the deaf olympics and they were so fast it was a thrill to just watch them train. The split second things football players have to do also takes alot of skill. I just dont think you can be a master of everything. In some instances, you give up something in one area to be good in another. At least with Vick, I tink tucking the ball might just slow him down enough to be an easy target. He could take more punishment and potentially lose the ball more. He extends the ball out but it appears to be part of his natural running motion. Im not sure you can get ball protection and speed with Vick. Its sort of a oxymoron.

  • It has nothing to do with "brain damage". Look your a slow poke. Its easy to "protect" the football when your moving at 3 miles an hour. But when you are moving at 20 miles an hour why apply the brakes?

  • Im not trying to be mean but I thought you were a 15 yo when I first started reading your posts. When serena williams misses abackhand at the net do you run around going she has never been coached to do that? No because even all the practice in the world wont necessarily stop it from happening. Why the need to call Vick "brain damaged". Its got racist overtones. Now you may say it isnt directed at Vick but based on all the conversation on this site it fits in perfect. you are a racist grandma.

  • Actually, I accuse you, GTD and EZ. The three haters in this order:

    EZ
    GTD
    Fartsmella.

    Z_STD via thefartsmella hole
  • Dude come on! This sort of childishness is EXACTLY why I blocked EZ and GTD.

Notice how much civility there is on my post without them? Let's keep that.
  • ok. ill stop. we will see if they stop
  • They won't, but that's the point. That's how THEY (EZ & GTD) operate. It's DELIBERATELY hypocritical to call THEM childish and then turn around and imitate them.

At times all people can be perceived as being "hypocritical" about something or other. However it's different when the act is deliberate.
  • I have tried at different times but they resort to insults. Im going to take the higher road. Im going to start by apologizing to Spot. I really dont know anything about her but i have small beefs with her every now and again. Im starting over with her. Sorry for not sticking to football Flip.
