Miami, Fla–As they cruised to a 35-7 victory over Miami Jackson High, Nigel Bethel and No. 1 ranked Booker T. Washington Tornadoes were as relaxed as ever after the win tonight at Miami’s Traz Powell Stadium. CaneINsider caught up with the 2014 DB who is currently committed to the University of Miami to ask about his visit to Texas Tech this week according to internet reports.
“I may not go,” he said when asked if he’d be heading out to Lubbock, Texas this weekend.
Bethel and the Tornadoes defense held Quentin Flowers and the Miami Jackson Generals offense in check save a late touchdown pass in the waning minutes of the game with Bethel on the bench. Several Miami coaches were out to catch Bethel and teammates Chad Thomas and Demetrius Jackson play in person. Assistant coaches Michael Barrow (linebackers) and Hurlie Brown (running backs) were both present.
