Celtics Green ...a boston celtics blog.:
The Nets deal just got a little sweeter for the Celtics and makes it a bit easier to handle the sting of losing Pierce and KG.
It has been announced that Brooklyn will keep Reggie Evans and instead send us Brooks. This will not be the first time Marshon has been with the Celtics, well at least technically. Brooks was drafted No. 25 by the C's in 2011, but was sent to the Nets for JuJuan Johnson and a 2014 2nd rd pick (source: NESN).

Well that was quick. Per the Celtics.
The Boston Celtics announced today that they have waived forward Kris Joseph.

Would you want Scal as the Celtics coach?
RT @MrTrpleDouble10: Scal said he half-jokingly called Ainge as soon as Doc was gone to ask about job. Ainge told him he was 4th on his list

Alright. I know this was probably a joke, but let's say it wasn't. Would you want Scal as the Celtics coach? For anyone that reads my posts...
While covering the Las Vegas Summer League, CSNNE's Jessica Camerato caught up with New Orleans Pelicans second year guard Austin Rivers, who's averaging 19.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3 assists through two games. Rivers had this to say about his father's departure from Boston:
Austin Rivers on Doc: "It was so tough for him to leave (the Celtics). It made him...
That night in St. Louis Park still weighs heavily on Kevin Garnett's heart.
For all of the pains and tribulations the Minnesota Timberwolves franchise has endured since Garnett's departure for Boston, none, of course, compare to what struck the organization early in the morning on Saturday, May 20, 2000. It was then that teammate and fan favorite swingman Malik Sealy was...

Both Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett have remained relatively quiet since being traded from the Celtics to the Brooklyn Nets last month, but Pierce has taken to Instagram on Tuesday to thank the city of Boston for their support during his tenure with the C’s. Pierce posted a series of photos taken throughout his career in Boston, both on and off the court and all with the caption...

Paul Pierce just took to his twitter/instagram account to thank the city of Boston for the years of support.
He also said that he would be sharing his favorite memories of Boston on his instagram account, so be sure to give him a follow there. He's already got a few more photos up.
I really don’t know where I’ve been to have missed this. Brooklyn Nets forward Mason Plumlee threw down a poster dunk last week after a spin move on Detroit Pistons guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope during the 2013 Orlando Summer League. Every time I see a white guy posterize someone my heart just soars. Too bad it was a guard.. baby steps.
Kevin Garnett has been the biggest fan of Gino Time at the TD Garden, which gets blasted over the jumbotron anytime the Celtics win a home game by a blow-out. The Boston Herald's Steve Bulpett recently learned that Gino will make an appearance in KG's tribute video, which the Celtics have made for the likes of Kendrick Perkins, Glen "Big Baby" Davis, Tom Thibideau...
