DENVER -- A month ago, the Denver Nuggets couldn't buy a 3-pointer. On Tuesday, they got an unexpected one to win a game. Wilson Chandler hit a 3-pointer with 14.9 seconds left in overtime, and the Nuggets rallied from blowing a late fourth-quarter lead to beat the Portland Trail Blazers 115-111 at Pepsi Center. Danilo Gallinari scored 25 points, Ty Lawson had 24 points and 12 assists, and Kenneth Faried added 21 points and 11 rebounds for the Nuggets, who have won five straight. Denver, which is 2-0 in overtime, improved to 15-2 at home. The Nuggets got the win with a weapon that abandoned them in Portland on Dec. 20. They were 0-for-22 from 3-point range in that loss but were scorching in comparison Tuesday, finishing 9-for-25. The last one was the biggest. Chandler, who was playing just his second game after missing two months due to a hip injury, set up on the wing with the game tied. Andre Iguodala, who earlier in overtime hit a big 3-pointer, drove to the baske...

Andre Miller: “We’ve got a long way to go.”
I’d like to think – although it’s very untrue – that no one understands and appreciates Andre Miller like I do. I understand hid honesty, surliness, the little things he does for the Nuggets, the way he can see the court in this insane, 3-dimensional structure, and his leadership. To say I love Andre Miller [...]The post Andre Miller: “We’ve got a long way to go.” appeared...

Nuggets’ Timofey Mozgov: Trading Me Is Logical
League sources said the Denver Nuggets are looking to deal center Timofey Mozgov, who has been unable to get much playing time on a deep team and has an expiring contract. Mozgov is aware he could be moved by the Feb. 21 trade deadline.
“It think it’s logical, you can see that, trading me,’’ Mozgov said in an interview with FOX Sports Florida. “I’m in my contract year...
Heat Not Pursuing Timofey Mozgov Despite Rumors
When Denver Nuggets' center Timofey Mozgov spoke with media yesterday, a firestorm of rumors erupted. The Nuggets have been rumored to be looking for a trade partner and could move Mozgov. The fourth year player seemed to be perfectly willing to accept a trade, and he understood the Miami Heat were looking for a center. However, it seems the Heat have no interest in Mozgov...
Russell Westbrook Owns The Denver Nuggets
3-6. The Denver Nuggets are now 3-6 on the second-leg of a back-to-back and although I don’t want to offer excuses for the Nuggets, but facing the Oklahoma City Thunder with fresh legs on the second night of a b2b when a team is coming off of an overtime win isn’t an easy task. Those [...]The post Russell Westbrook Owns The Denver Nuggets appeared first on The NBA Mistress.
