The Kansas City Chiefs agreed to terms with center Casey Wiegmann on a one-year deal on Tuesday.
Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Two other unidentified clubs showed interest in the 38-year-old Wiegmann, who in turn only had eyes for the Chiefs.
Agent Joe Linta told ESPN earlier this week that Wiegmann wasn't interested in retiring.
Wiegmann has not missed a snap since 2001.
