After a long couple months of speculation and worry, Louisville has put Clint Hurtt on administrative leave due to his involvement in the Miami Hurricanes NCAA investigation.
About a month ago Hurtt was handed a NOA and was citied for many things including giving “false and misleading information” to NCAA officials when asked later about the incidents. He also is cited for taking thousands of dollars from Shapiro basically just for being a part of the Miami football program. Also the fact that Hurtt agreed to work with Shapiro to get recruits to come to “The U” might have made Shapiro more susceptible to give him money.
Hurtt has until May 20th to respond to the NCAA but apparently Hurtt has denied any kind of wrongdoing on his part so far. Louisville’s athletic department says that there has been no change in his status with the university.
Strong felt like giving him the administrative leave period was the right thing to do, “We’ve given him that time and I think it’s good that he’s doing that with the many distractions, he just can’t do the job that we’re asking him to do right now.”

Just asking a question: bloated or pregnant? When’s the last time you saw a Miami Hurricanes cheerleader looking like she needed some Gas-X softgels? Never, right? Of course we’ll get blasted by women for asking such a question, but it’s not like they’re not thinking the same thing we’re asking.

This, my friends, will be the best videobomb of this year’s NCAA Tournament. It took place after Miami (FL) held off Illinois 63-59 to advance to the Sweet 16. Miami senior big man Julian Gamble got teammate Shane Larkin in Larkin’s post game interview. Larkin hit a huge three-pointer in the last minute and finished with 17 points. Gamble finished with two points, five...
Miami Hurricanes’ Julian Gamble is up to his photobombing ways again. During the ACC Tournament, Gamble photobombed his coach during an interview. This time, Shane Larkin was being interviewed after The U beat Illinois and Gamble photobombed him. Gamble has certainly perfected his method and I hope he continues to do this as the Hurricanes continue their NCAA Tournament...
A closer look at Illinois' NCAA Tournament third round opponent -- the Miami Hurricanes.
The Miami Hurricanes are going to the Sweet 16. They defeated the Fighting Illini of Illinois 63-59 and one of the stars of the game Shane Larkin was the victim of an epic photobomb from his teammate Julian Gamble.
The post Shane Larkin Was The Victim Of A Photobomb appeared first on Ride The Pine.
AUSTIN, Texas (AP) There was no question about Shane Larkin's go-ahead 3-pointer for Miami.
The ball that appeared to ricochet off the hands of Miami's Kenny Kadji seconds later but went to the Hurricanes -- well, look at the replay.
Regardless, there is no overturning the fact that the Hurricanes are going to the NCAA round of 16 for only the second time in school history...

Two big bits of news this morning until JP comes through with today’s DMV a little bit later:
1. Our old friend Jim Larranaga seemed to be having a good time after his Miami Hurricanes advanced to the Sweet 16, where they’ll play in D.C.
2. George Mason is officially leaving the CAA for the A-10. Good for them, but probably bad for JMU.

AUSTIN, Texas - Miami players Trey McKinney Jones, Julian Gamble and Kenny Kadji discuss the NCAA Tournament third round matchup with Illinois.
