Sportsday:
The Cowboys got tired of waiting for outside linebacker Jay Moore to show up, so they have instead signed Texas Tech-ex Brandon Sharpe to help fill out the linebacker depth.
The Cowboys cut wide receiver Verran Tucker on Friday and were expected to sign Moore and the move was even announced by Stephen Jones.
Sharpe, who will wear No. 54, had four tackles, including two for a loss, the last time he played a game inside the Alamodome for the Alamo Bowl last season. He was with New Orleans for a spell this off-season after putting up 15 sacks last season, his first as a starter for Tech.
The roster is now at 80 for camp.
