Cowboys Fans Trepidation.

Posted September 29, 2012

How can it be stated it any more clear as to why and how this team under achieve's? I had to post this not because of the fact I've been saying this about Jerry for 12 of the past 17 years. It's mainly due to the latest installment of Jerry hamstring'ing the Cowboys for yet another season for no apparent reason other than selfish gains.

What else can it be? He's constantly on the radio divulging important elements of immediate Cowboys pregame plans. He's at odds with every and any player, coach, employee who's successful at doing their jobs apart from his meddling. The worst is there's no end in sight. The Cowboys have the highest Nielsen ratings in the NFL. All losses. What that tell you?

It tells me that just because the referee lockout is over. Doesn't mean Jerry is done having fun at the Cowboys expense. My question is how can he sit in front of a microphone with a straight face and say he cares about the fans of the Dallas Cowboys? When we look back over the last 17 years and add up all the bad choices he's made. Notwithstanding his reticence to owning up to the fact that he's just not good at GM'ing.

Let just say it this way. Jerry is loved by all Cowboys rivals. Even to the point of stoking his ego by saying he's a genius and a phenomenal salesman. Which by the way is far from the truth.  As the article indicates.  There's been little results in the post season won/loss record to prove such salutations.  Just between you and me.  The moral of this story is a lot of Cowboys fans have serious problems with what Jerry is selling to Roger Goodell and the league.
