Danica Patrick on Friday night celebrated a top 10 finish at Bristol Motor Speedway. While Joey Logano earned his 15th career victory in the Nationwide Series, Patrick was thrilled to survive her third start at Bristol with a ninth-place finish. For the driver of the No. 7 GoDaddy.com Chevrolet, it was just her second top 10 of the year, but a career-high showing at the half-mile track known as Thunder Valley. "If you drive like that tomorrow night, you'll have a good night," said crew chief Tony Eury Jr., referring to Patrick's Cup Series debut at Bristol on Saturday. "Copy that," said Patrick, who started 34 and overcame a speeding penalty and three near-misses on the track before soldiering back to her first top 10 in 16 races. Patrick quickly moved into the top 30, but fought traffic in the opening laps. On Lap 19, she avoided disaster as David Starr slowed to a crawl before parking his car.
