Denver Nuggets: What Are They Thinking Letting Masai Ujiri Leave?

File this under the what are they thinking category. The Denver Nuggets, for some reason have allowed the Toronto Raptors to steal away their GM, Masai Ujiri. Ujiri is the reigning Executive of the Year and one of the best executives in the NBA. This is one of the worst decisions in the NBA in quite some time and they will regret it. Why did the Nuggets do this? Money.
For just a few million dollars, the Nuggets allowed the Raptors to take away the man who built one of the NBA’s best teams. Josh Kroenke, the owner of the Nuggets is not hurting in his wallet, as his family also owns the St. Louis Rams, so the fact that they let one of their best assets leave them for what amounts to chump change to the Kroenke family, is unacceptable.
For a small sum of money they let the man who drafted Ty Lawson, Kenneth Faried and Evan Fournier, traded for Danilo Gallinari, Wilson Chandler, JaVale Mc...
