Derek Carr QB Fresno State #4 Ht: 6’3″ Wt: 215 All of our scouting reports are limited to our premium customers. If you would like access to all of our 2014 scouting reports, click here to sign up. Comments: Carr looks like a prototypical pocket passer. He has clean mechanics and a strong arm and even shows some decent athleticism. However, decision making, especially under pressure, has always been an issue. He trusts his arm and takes a lot of chances, which leads to mistakes. He’s clearly a future NFL signal caller, but may not be much more than a backup. While he’s adequate in just about every aspect of the game, he doesn’t really stand out enough to project as an obvious future starter.
