The 2012 NFL schedule was released Tuesday at 7:00PM. The news surrounding the release was a bit absurd (ESPN had a three-hour special on it), but as expected everyone wants to see how many wins they can foreshadow their favorite team getting.
Here is the Lions preseason and regular season. They will have one primetime preseason games and four regular season primetime tilts. But, only one will be at home. That’s the price to pay for hosting a Thanksgiving Day game. Either way, six nationally televised games is pretty incredible.
The composite schedule can be found here. And as we promised, notice the W or L next to the game. That’s our extremely way too early shot in the dark for a prediction. Leave a comment with what you project their record to be.

Final tally: 13-3
Barring major injuries (crossing fingers), I see 12-4 at the worst. The Lions are definitely on their way up and I expect a two or three game improvement on last season’s 10-6 regular season record. First place in the NFC North and the two-seed in the NFC (behind a 13-3 San Francisco team who holds the tiebreaker because of their week two win).
