In the latest results from the Discover Fan Loyalty Poll, college football fans across the country were asked which team had the best chance to win this season’s BCS Championship. While they were voted as the top team for the majority of the season, losing one game was not enough to change the minds of the fans. With that being said, the fans surveyed in the most recent Discover Fan Loyalty Poll still give the Alabama Crimson Tide the best chance of winning the BCS Championship this year.
This comes despite the fact that Alabama still has some business to take care of before they are afforded the opportunity to play for a third national championship in the past four years. The Crimson Tide must first defeat the Georgia Bulldogs in today’s SEC Championship Game to receive a bid to face the top seeded Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the BCS Championship game in early January. Alabama is favored by approximately one touchdown entering today’s conference title showdown, as many expect them...
BEST OF MAXIM
Alabama defender Quinton Dial delivered a vicious helmet to helmet hit on Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray late in the second quarter. The hit came after Murray threw an interception and was returned by Ha’Sean Clinton-Dix to the Georgia 47. The Crimson Tide would score a field goal on the drive following the hit, entering half time with a 10-7 lead.
Apparently the star of Cougar Town, Scream, and Friends is a big Alabama Crimson Tide fan. Courteney Cox tweeted this today after Alabama beat the Georgia Bulldogs.

It was a spectacular game that Georgia gave away and Alabama willed their way back.
ROLL DAMN TIDE!
Alabama vs. Notre Dame. The BCS championship game couldn't get much bigger.
The Crimson Tide locked up a spot in the title game in Miami on Jan. 7 with a 32-28 victory over Georgia in the SEC championship game Saturday.
Now the hype can begin for what could be the most-watched BCS title game since the system was implemented in 1998. It'd be hard to find two more popular...
Nothing has to be worse than throwing a horrific interception directly to Ha’Sean Clinton-Dixon and then getting absolutely leveled by a massive Alabama defensive tackle. This hit was definitely helmet to helmet, but it wasn’t as much of a blindside hit as you might think. If you look closely, Murray sees Dial at the very last second, but unfortunately for him it was too...
Alabama will get its shot at BCS history. For the first time since Ohio State made back-to-back trips to the BCS National Championship Game in 2007 and 2008, we have a return contender for the BCS title in the Crimson Tide.
But unlike the Buckeyes, who lost both attempts to lift the crystal football, the Crimson Tide have a shot to make history — and win a second straight BCS national...
ATLANTA -- Barrett Jones hobbled into Alabama's locker room in the bowels of the Georgia Dome, two crutches supporting the 6-foot-5, 302-pound All-America center's frame.
"You guys don't mind if I take a seat, do you?" Jones asked the collected media as he took a seat in front off his locker, his No. 2 Crimson Tide having beat third-ranked Georgia 32-28 for...
As Alabama and Georgia prepare for Saturday’s Southeastern Conference Championship Game in Atlanta, for some reason, much more has been made of Alabama’s one loss than has been made of Georgia being beaten once this season. In fact, there has been more talk about the Crimson Tide’s one loss in 2011 than about the defeat suffered by the Bulldogs.
The SEC Championship game will give one team a birth in the BCS Championship game against Notre Dame. Will it be Alabama seeking its second consecutive title or will Georgia find a way to punch its ticket to the big dance. The game which will be played in the Georgia Dome is scheduled for a 4 p.m. EST kickoff and can be seen on CBS.
Ranked No. 2 and No. 3, Alabama and Georgia both...
Kelly comments on the Crimson Tide, injuries to his Irish, bowl preparation plans, and a mental victory in Atlanta.
The Southeastern Conference was begun and, fittingly, Alabama won the first SEC Championship. Saturday night in Atlanta, the Crimson Tide won its 23rd. A part of that remarkable record is that Bama is the only team to have won league titles in each of the parts of nine decades of the conference.
First year on the job, true freshman wide receiver Amari Cooper has been one of Alabama's most explosive players. His game-winning touchdown in Saturday's SEC Championship game helped the Crimson Tide clinch a trip to play for the national championship in his home city of Miami.
