Northwestern's hopes have all but dimmed, but nobody represents the team's upbeat mindset like senior guard Reggie Hearn. The Wildcats' inspirational leader has made the season memorable to this point, and will need to carry his team moving forward.

Injuries continue to plague Wildcats

Northwestern was already bitten by the injury bug. In Saturday's loss to the Iowa Hawkeyes, that only worsened. Center Alex Olah (head) and forward Jared Swopshire (right leg) left the game and did not return. Now, Northwestern must react to further issues.
