I managed to make it up to Gillette Stadium today. Here are my observations from today's practice.
No Dobson, More KT/Boyce
The biggest story from today’s practice is clearly the absence of rookie receiver Aaron Dobson. After impressing early in camp, the second round draft pick didn’t practice today due to an apparent injury
Dobson is out on the field watching practice. Walking gingerly, seems to be favoring right leg, but doesn't appear too serious

This was very disappointing, as I was looking forward to seeing Dobson in person for the first time. However, his absence merely opened up more opportunities for fellow rookies Josh Boyce and Kenbrell Thompkins. Neither were perfect (Tom Brady looked annoyed on one play when Boyce initially didn’t motion correctly on an audible, for example) but both flashed the obvious talent that has many excited about their future in New England.
Thompkins was especially impressive. The lanky (...
BEST OF MAXIM
FOXBORO, Mass. – Tom Brady has a challenge ahead of him this summer: to get six rookie wide receivers on the same page before the Patriots’ first preseason game against the Eagles — and even more importantly, before the team’s first regular season game in just 40 days.
Brady’s taking a patient approach this season (though he’s kind of forced to). There have been few vocal...
Is it September 8th yet?
Damn, Patriots QB Tom Brady has his work cut out for him this season. He has lost many of weapons from 2012.
Fear not fans, he is still Tom F’N Brady!
Pot Of Baked Beans Goes To Pats Propaganda!
Tom Brady and Peyton are well into the back nines of their respective careers. But the Pigskin Public still expects these Old Guns to lead the most successful teams in football this season.
The list of receivers who've flunked out of Foxboro is a long one. Joey Galloway, Chad OchoCinco, Bethel Johnson, Reche Caldwell, and a host of others have come to New England, only to leave with a big red "F" on their report cards. The rumors have persisted that QB Tom Brady may not have the patience with guys not being able to get on the same page. He addressed that...
GET OFF HIS LAWN
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is 35, but he says he will exercise caution and try to be patient with his young crop of wide receivers during training camp.
With today's ever growing need for the latest and greatest technology in every part of our lives, the NFL is now stepping into the light by introducing helmet cams for quarterbacks during camp. But are these cams really worth it in the long run? Also, if they are, what are the good things about having them?
The St. Louis Rams were the first team to wear a cam on the QB's...
The Patriots have doled out their annual awards for hard work and improvement in the offseason. Here's a look at each recipient, who will each receive a prime parking space at Gillette Stadium for their efforts.
The former Rams receiver has huge expectations for the season as the team's replacement for departed Pro Bowler Wes Welker. While Amendola is under...
FOXBORO, Mass. — Julian Edelman trotted out onto the practice field at Gillette Stadium with his teammates in full pads, which must have been a welcome sight for Tom Brady.
With an entirely new group of wide receivers on the roster, Brady has enjoyed some highs and suffered through some lows so far in training camp. So, Edelman’s return to the fold should ease some of the pressure...
Monday was a big day for the New England Patriots, as on top of the Hall Of Fame induction for Gill Santos and Tedy Bruschi, it was the annual Season Ticket holders practice inside Gillette Stadium. It was a long day for fans and media alike as Coach McDaniels, Tom Brady and Vince Wilfork all took the time to talk to media before the practices began. First up for interviews was Assistant...
If you know anything about Redskins second year running back Alfred Morris, you will know he’s humble, quiet, and pretty much to himself.
That quiet nature is the only thing that can save him from this embarrassing mixup.
According to Yahoo Sports, WUSA 9 In Washington D.C. had an interesting idea, where they would see how many Redskins players could recognize Washington Nationals...
You wonder just who exactly Tom Brady will be throwing to in Week 1. There has been a lot of turnover with the Patriots this off-season. Wes Welker is in Denver catching passes from Peyton Manning, Rob Gronkowski has had multiple surgeries, and Aaron Hernandez is in jail. If you were counting, that’s 3 of [...]
