The Novacare Complex was abuzz on Saturday as the rookies currently on the roster of the Philadelphia Eagles another invited participants took part in the first day of rookie camp. It’s a crash course in all-things NFL and all-things Eagles, including terminology, so this weekend will only begin to scratch the surface of determining the talent who will best help the Eagles in the upcoming season. But it’s exciting nonetheless.
Below is a round-up of news and observations from Day 1 of camp:
-Philadelphiaeagles.com notes that RB Bryce Brown initially seems more explosive than others, including Chris Polk, and that LB Mychal Kendricks “made the play of the morning when he picked off a Nick Foles pass intended for Brackett about 30 yards down the left sideline.”
