NFL Trade Rumors:
The Philadelphia Eagles announced that they have signed former Bears WR Joe Anderson on Friday, via Eagles Insider.
The deal is most likely a reserve/future signing, but provide confirmation as the news is available.
Anderson, 25, ended his 2013 season with the Bears after they placed him on season-ending injured reserve back in November following abdominal injury. He appeared in six games this past season, but never caught a pass. He did, however, total 82 kick return yards for the team.
Pro Football Focus has him down for playing 13 offensive snaps.

BEST OF MAXIM
With Super Bowl XLVIII in the books, the 2013 season is officially in the rearview mirror. Thus, it’s time to look ahead to 2014.
But before teams gather for training camp in July, play preseason games in August and tee it up for real in September, they have some roster building to do. While the NFL Draft in May will get most of the attention, free agency, which starts on March...
Eagles GM Howie Roseman was interviewed recently by CSNPhilly’s Reuben Frank on 94 WIP. Naturally, the topic of safety was brought up since it’s the Eagles’ biggest need as we head into this offseason.
Roseman’s comments, as provided by Frank right here, left me feeling a mixture of optimistic and frustrated.
Optimistic because the team seems to understand that safety is...

The Eagles don’t have the greatest history of drafting quarterbacks.
They’ve had some good signal-callers over the years — guys like Ron Jaworski, Norm Snead and Norm Van Brocklin all had great careers in green. But none of them were drafted by the franchise.
In their history, the Eagles have selected a quarterback in the first two rounds only six times. This includes only...
The Philadelphia Eagles announced the second step in their stadium revitalization project today. On the heels of a new deal with Panasonic, Lincoln Financial Field will see the addition of roughly 1,600 new seats.
The new seats will be added at select corners of the stadium. Here are some (poor quality) screen shots, illustrating the upcoming changes.
During this process...
Chirs Polk and Bryce Brown are in for a long battle to see who will backup All-Pro LeSean McCoy (Image Courtesy of Philly.com).
Chris Polk and Bryce Brown are in for an interesting offseason.
The need to give star running back LeSean McCoy more rest is imperative. McCoy was not just the NFL’s leading rusher, but he also led the league in attempts with 314, while playing 890 snaps...
How likely is it that the Philadelphia Eagles will win Super Bowl XLIX? Not too bad, actually.
Bovada has the Eagles at 25-1 to win the next Super Bowl, behind 8 other NFL teams like the Seahawks, 49ers and Broncos. Bovada is ranked as the top sports betting site over at Sports Betting Dime, where you can also place bets.
There are a few things that I don’t agree with in the odds...
Megan Fox is sexy. Megan Good is also sexy. Philadelphia Eagles Michael Vick is sexy a name, in 2014, when it comes to free agency. Sexy on the field in his style of play. Vick is dangerous, exciting and like some sexy women down right aggravating. Watching Vick play and his ability still at the age of 33 keeps us coming back time and time again. Vick originally appeared comfo...
LeSean McCoy leads a strong group of running backs in Philadelphia (Image Courtesy of Philly.com).
Over the next couple of weeks, Eagledelphia will be addressing the Eagles free agents needs while evaluating producing a position-by-position analysis.
The today’s area to be addressed: Running Back.
The Eagles trio of running backs is perhaps the strongest in the NFL.
Every franchise makes the mistakes.
The Eagles have had their fair share over the years, and at a variety of positions, too. But the cautionary tales of quarterbacks they once drafted are out there.
I didn’t just go ahead and pick any random quarterback — a seventh round selection who never took a snap in the NFL doesn’t have a place on this list. How high a quarterback was...
When BSO caught hold of the Eagles’ receiver on Friday, it wasn’t to discuss x’s and o’s–it was to celebrate and promote his ‘Design for Brad Smith’ competition.
The competition which was launched in January, set out on a mission to find the most innovative, young up & coming menswear designer in the country. Entrants were asked to submit a complete Red Carpet...
The free agency period is one of every NFL fan's favorite part of the offseason. It's a chance for their team to get rid of some dead weight, and possibly get some new talent as well. The Philadelphia Eagles are all too familiar with free agency, as they've made plenty of big moves in the last few years. As we saw in 2011 and 2012 however, adding big names doesn't...
As a late-round draft pick still playing on his rookie contract, Jason Kelce is among the NFL’s most underpaid players.
And until now, the Eagles couldn’t do anything about it.
Eagles General Manager Howie Roseman said this week that while he couldn’t comment specifically on whether the Eagles have opened contract talks yet with Kelce, they hope to re-sign him at some point...
Jeremy Maclin could be on the verge of receiving a long-term contract offer from the New York Jets once free agency opens on March 11th. (Image via GCobb.com)
If the Eagles hope to re-sign Jeremy Maclin this offseason, they may find themselves in a bidding war for the fifth-year receiver who missed all of last season with a torn ACL.
According to a report in the New York Daily...
After watching the NY/NJ metropolitan area barely pull off a successful weather delayed Super Bowl, several other cold weather NFL cities are interested in hosting as well.
Philadelphia mayor Michael Nutter won’t be left out in the cold, and according to the Star-Ledger, Nutter believes Philadelphia would put on the best Super Bowl ever.
“Heck, yeah, we want it,” Nutter told...
