[Video]: Eriksen’s Amazing Gerrard-esque Goal For Spurs, The First of Many - originally posted on Soccerlens.comChristian Eriksen scored a wonderful goal last night against Tromso in the Europa League, as Spurs dominated and won comfortably 3-0 at White Hart Lane. The 21-year-old is already considered as one of the bright stars of Europe and it was a surprise that nobody apart from Spurs made serious attempt to sign him in the summer. He was impressive on his debut against Norwich City and last night, he was terrific as well, after coming on as sub. Eriksen is a technically gifted player and that goal reminds me of Steven Gerrard’s brilliant effort against Marseille in 2008/09 Champions League campaign. On that case Gerrard, picked up the ball from the right and curled in with his right foot, bending his body.
