A week after returning to the field in the Falcons’ drubbing at the hands (or wings) of the Seahawks, receiver Roddy White is still limited in practice. White had just one catch in Sunday’s return from a three game absence, but it went for a gain of 20 yards. As ESPN’s Vaughn McClure notes, this is a new injury for White (shoulder), not one of the pre-existing ailments that kept him sidelined before (hamstring/ankle).

McClure also notes that coach Mike Smith was limiting White to a snap count on Sunday, which he maxed out on, using White on 55 of 58 offensive snaps.
As previously noted, receiver Harry Douglas has been added to the injury report this week, after missing practice Thursday. Veteran tight end Tony Gonzalez is also not practicing because of a toe injury suffered in Sunday’s game.
When it rains, it pours. And it’s pouring injured offensive players all over the Falcons’ practice field ...
