Found October 16, 2013 on NFL Injury Report:
Start Nick Foles vs. Cowboys. Foles is going to be the starter this week against one of the worst defenses in the league. I’m sure Cowboys’ ex-D.C. Rob Ryan is the first one laughing at this group of defensive backs allowing a league-worst 347 yards-per-game to opposing QBs. Start Tony Romo @ Eagles. Ok, so this game is obviously going to be a shoot-out. The Eagles’ pass defense is the second worst in the league allowing 343 yards-per-game to opposing QBs. In his two games against Philadelphia in 2012, Romo completed an outstanding 77% of his passes, a rate he could easy exceed this week with a healthy receiving corps. Start Mike Glennon @ Buccaneers. Glennon was on my start ‘em list for week 6 against a struggling Eagles’ defense, now he’s matched up against an equally as frustrating Falcons’ team. Atlanta is allowing opposing QBs to complete 67% of their passes this year; which is worse than the Giants, Redskins, Eagles, and Cowboys. Start Jay Cutler @ Bears. Start Philip Rivers @ Jaguars. Start Andrew Luck vs. Broncos. Sit Sam Bradford @ Panthers. In his only career matchup against Carolina, Bradford passed for a measly 191 yards, which is 20 fewer passing yards than the Panthers’ defense has allowed to starting QBs in their last 4 games (211). Sit Carson Palmer vs. Seahawks. It might be time to start thinking about moving on from Palmer. He is, at best, a QB3 in most formats. Seattle’s defense has allowed 5 passing scores this year while marking 9 interceptions. Sit Joe Flacco @ Steelers. This might look like a friendly matchup on the surface; the Steelers are 1-4 coming into week 7. Joe Flacco is historically horrible against Pittsburgh. In 10 career games, his best fantasy performance came in 2011 when he managed to complete 59% of his passes for 224 yards and 3 touchdowns. In ten games, Flacco has thrown for 11 touchdowns while turning the ball over 11 times, and he’s averaged only 218 yards-from-scrimmage per game. The Steelers are allowing an average of only 203 passing yards-per-game to opposing QBs, and have given up a total of 4 passing scores in 2013. Sit Alex Smith vs. Texans. Despite a struggling season, Houston is only giving up 144 yards-per-game to opposing QBs, and no quarterback has been able to eclipse 200 yards through the air against the Texans. Until Jamaal Charles decides to share some of his fantasy glory with his teammates, Smith stays a QB2. Sit Colin Kaepernick @ Titans.

Are Eagles Better Off With Michael Vick or Nick Foles?

The Eagles have had a number of problems this season. However, they finally have a good problem. They have two very capable quarterbacks who can win football games. The only issue is which quarterback to go with moving forward. It used to be an unwritten rule that you couldn’t lose your job due to injury. I hope Michael Vick doesn’t believe that. Let’s remember that Vick took...

Eagles QB Nick Foles will likely start the Eagles’ next game against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. Michael Vick reportedly isn’t coming along too well with his hamstring injury. 2013 NFL Scouting: Is Nick Foles the Answer for Chip Kelly and the Eagles?

During the course of the 2013 preseason, in Philadelphia it was obvious that Nick Foles was nothing more than the backup quarterback. Michael Vick seemed tailor made for the Chip Kelly offense, and he'd decidedly out-played Foles throughout the summer. Even with Foles leading the Eagles to a win over the Giants, Kelly and the Eagles coaching staff seemed to be sticking...

Michael Vick: ‘I’m not playing this week’

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick told the media Thursday after practice at the NovaCare Complex that his injured hamstring is still not 100 percent, and he wont be playing Sunday’s game against the Cowboys. “I’m not playing this week,” said Vick. “Every day I’m just working and trying to get better. I just can’t rush it.” Vick

Michael Vick: Injury ‘worse than what I thought’

It became evident earlier this week that Nick Foles would be the Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterback when they take on the Dallas Cowboys this weekend. It’s not clear how much time, if any, Michael Vick will miss beyond the Dallas game, but he told reporters — including Reuben Frank of CSN Philly — that the hamstring injury that’s sidelined him is worse than he initially thought...

The Common Ground of Tony Romo and Nick Foles

Drew Bledsoe could have tied that game, damn it.After a pass interference penalty drove his Cowboys to the Eagles' six-yard line, down 31-24 with under a minute to go, Bledsoe was less than a stone's throw away from potentially forcing overtime. This was in spite of the fact that the aging quarterback had taken more hits than a puff-puff-pass circle.By the time darkness fell...
