The Lakers continue their downward spiral towards the bottom of the Western Conference. Do they fire Mike D’Antoni? Do they trade Dwight Howard, or even Pau Gasol? On the latest episode of Voice of the Nation: Fastbreak, David Brickley and Jason Riley ask the question: If you owned the Lakers, what would be your very first move?  Be sure to leave us a comment for a chance to win a Lakers titanium bracelet, courtesy of our friends over at Phiten. The post Fastbreak: Should the Lakers Fire Mike D’Antoni? appeared first on Laker Nation.

  • The reason I think the Lakers should fire D"Antoni is because they had no reason to hire him in the first place. The reason been, that the assistant coach under Jackson had a 5-1 record to start the season. Why was"nt he given the chance, that he had been waiting on to coach the team?Put him back as coach and watch the team react for the better, before its to late.
  • The reason the Lakers should fire D'Antoni is because they shouldn't have hired him in the first place. He has made the Lakers loose their 'pazaaz'. They are no fun to watch any more. They even look like they don't even enjoy playing. An now Dr. Buss passing away, things can only get worse. They should have hired that assistant coach under Phil Jackson. This will probably be the first year that they probably won't even get to the play-offs. Someone needs to find Phil Jackson.......
