Joe Schad of ESPN is reporting that former Oklahoma State quarterback Wes Lunt has narrowed his list to five, with Louisville making the cut. The former four star recruit is also considering Southern Miss, Vanderbilt, Tennessee and Illinois.
Lunt was rated as the one of the top 25 overall quarterbacks in the 2012 class and had a scholarship offer from Louisville. Offensive coordinator Shawn Watson made a strong impression on Lunt when he was recruiting him out of high school. He took an unofficial visit to the school in spring of 2011.
The Rochester, IL., native eventually ended up choosing Oklahoma State. As a true freshman in 2011, Lunt was the starting quarterback for the Cowboys, but was sidelined with leg injuries for a good part of the year. He threw for 1,108 yards, six touchdowns and seven interceptions.
