Minnesota coach Tubby Smith says returning star forward Trevor Mbakwe is ''lucky to be on the team'' following a guilty plea for driving while intoxicated last month.

Despite his squad's decisive win one night earlier, Minnesota men's hockey coach Don Lucia said he sought greater consistency Saturday night against Michigan State.
