The Fighting Illini basketball team fought host Indiana evenly through the first part of the second half, but the Hoosiers pulled away for an 84-71 victory Thursday night. Three Illini fouled out as the Hoosiers hit 35 of 42 free throws. Indiana had too much firepower for the less experienced Illini.

The rabid Hoosier fans love to beat the Illini, and they will be out in full force to make the Illini visit an unpleasant one.
