Gabby Douglas will join Oprah Winfrey for Oprah’s Next Chapter on August 26.

I have been waiting patiently for Oprah to announce that she will interview Gabby Douglas. I imagine Oprah will be just as honored to sit down with Gabby, as Gabby will be honored to be there with her.

We will get to hear Gabby and her mom, Natalie Hawkins, speak firsthand of the sacrifices that were made by their family, ultimately for Gabby’s success. I also hope to hear Gabby’s future plans and how she will use her new found celebrity for change and good.

Gabby Douglas won two gold medals at the 2012 London Summer Olympics in gymnastics. One with Team USA, and one for the all-around competition.

The Gabby Douglas interview will air on Oprah’s Next Chapter, Sunday, August 26, 8:30/7:30c.

Will you be tuning in?
