The Florida Gators did their part for the SEC on Thursday, dismantling Marquette 82-49 in Gainesville as part of the SEC-Big East challenge. The gators were balanced in scoring on the night and got a lead early and never looked back. Here is a pictorial of the big win.

The Gators took out Marquette 82-49 in the O'Dome Thursday night behind big-time contributions of several players. Florida forward Casey Prather was back on the court for the first time this season after being out with a concussion. Prather chipped in 11 points three rebounds one assist and one steal in the victory.

Balanced Gators cruise to win over Marquette

With its top scorer in a funk, No. 7 Florida decided to share the wealth. The Gators overcame a six-point game from Kenny Boynton, where the senior shot 2-for-11 from the field, by getting double-figure points from six players on the team. The seven Gators that took a shot from the field besides Boynton shot 59.1%, as Florida cruised to an 82-49 win over Marquette.
