Although they were just a few calls here-and-there, and a rimmed-out Brook Lopez buzzer-beating jumper at the end of the fourth, from heading to overtime and possibly winning this game, the Nets watched a double-digit lead slip right away as they just appeared to not want to win this massively-important for whatever reason. By the way, the loss brings the Nets just 1.5 games ahead of both the #5 seed Bulls and #6 Hawks for the #4 seed in the East. Yup.  In lieu of the normal recap, I'm just going to list the statistics ...

Brian Scalabrine Says Nobody “White” Can Beat Him 1-On-1

Brian Scalabrine is a funny guy, with a cool personality. Scalabrine only averaged 3.1 points and 2 rebounds in 13 minutes during his 11 year NBA career. Those are not gaudy numbers no, but he was an All Pac 10 performer and honorable mentions All American as a Senior at USC. The reason I’m explaining this is because when you’re in the NBA and not a star, people seem to get...

Deron Williams Dunks For The First Time This Season. 5000 Year Old, Jerry Stackhouse Dunked Too.

He finally did it, guys. Deron Williams finally got past the trauma that Blake Griffin left him after obliterating his first dunk attempt earlier in the season and dunked for the first time all season. With or without playoff win, Nets' first season in Brooklyn is a major success, for all parties ...

Finally, in Deron Williams and Brook Lopez' third season with each other on the Nets, they appear to be playing with the level of chemistry that other famous point guard-center duos have in the league's history, like John Stockton and Karl Malone for example Ever since it moved from Long Island, N.Y. to New Jersey in the 1970s while still a member of the ABA, the...
