Inside the Bills:
Bills SS George Wilson will not practice here on Wednesday.
That according to head coach Chan Gailey, who provided the following update on Wilson.
“He’s getting better, but slowly,” he said. ”Not a big enough jump to feel like he can go to practice right now.”

Its not looking good for George Wilson and Naaman Roosevelt for Sunday’s game.
Wilson and Roosevelt are not practicing again today. Neither player has practiced this week. Both are likely to be declared doubtful at best.
Wilson missed last week’s game as he still recovers from a neck stinger. Roosevelt is dealing with a shoulder injury.
Does Chan Gailey take the blame for the Bills' free-fall?I’ve been a Bills fan since I was four years old. As a result, I’ve seen a lot of ugly play and poor games from my Bills over the years. But NOTHING has topped these past three weeks.A season that began with such promise has completely and totally unraveled, as the Bills have endured three straight blowout losses at...
Here are the non-participants for Wednesday’s practice.
---Strong safety George Wilson (neck) did not practice on Thursday while wide receiver Stevie Johnson (shoulder) was limited in preparation for Sunday’s game against the New York Jets.
Kicker Rian Lindell (shoulder) and wide receiver Naaman Roosevelt (shoulder) also missed practice. Wilson missed last week’s game at Miami while Lindell has been out the last two. Roosevelt was...
Leodis McKelvin spent most of Sunday afternoon in Miami on the sidelines as rookies Aaron Williams and Justin Rogers went on the field defensively instead, even after the season-ending injury to Terrence McGee. Head coach Chan Gailey was asked Monday if McKelvin will remain at the back end of the depth chart.
“That remains to be seen,” said Gailey. ”Obviously with the injury...
Head coach Chan Gailey confirmed that Aaron Williams will start at LCB in place of Terrence McGee who went on injured reserve Tuesday. The question is will he move into the slot just as McGee did when Buffalo goes to their nickel package?
When Terrence McGee was out of the lineup the first three games of the season, Aaron Williams filled his role in the slot on nickel packages, while...
Not only does Tashard Choice have a connection with Buffalo already having played for head coach Chan Gailey in college. A former relative of his played running back for the Bills.
Choice’s cousin Joe Burns, was a reserve running back for Buffalo from 2002-2006 serving mostly on special teams. Burns also played his college ball at Georgia Tech. Burns appeared in 58 games for the...
The Buffalo Bills, losers of three straight games, certainly did not need any additional bad news. But here it comes, via the BillBoard:
Bills coach Chan Gailey said [Fred] Jackson is out for Sunday's key AFC East game against the New York Jets. And Gailey said Jackson might be done for the year.
"Fred's not good, and I know he'll miss this one," Gailey said...
With C.J. Spiller now the lead back in the wake of Fred Jackson’s move to I-R many wonder how the Bills offense might change to better suit Spiller’s skill set, which includes more speed out of the backfield than was provided by Jackson. Head coach Chan Gailey indicated that not a whole lot will be different.
“It changes a little bit,” said Gailey. ”You’ve got 10 other...
Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson won't play Sunday in New York against the Jets because of a leg injury. Jackson was ruled out by coach Chan Gailey on Wednesday because of a right calf injury sustained in Buffalo's blowout loss to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. Gailey also wasn't optimistic when he was asked if Jackson would be back before the regular season ends.
