Hunter Pence sings and makes funny faces in his car (Video)

San Francisco Giants outfielder Hunter Pence posted a video of himself singing (if you can call it that) the Calvin Harris hit "Feel So Close" in his car. Pence then followed it up with "The Grand Finale", during which he spared us from the singing and simply made funny faces in his car as "Feel So Close" continued to play. This was definitely...

Bloomquist not ready to give up starting job

Willie Bloomquist had what has become his signature Diamondbacks' at-bat Saturday. After taking a strike, he doubled down the right-field line. He stayed inside the ball and found an open landing place. Kelly Johnson once said he saw the same approach every time Bloomquist hit, and he sounded envious when he said it. Healthy again after missing virtually all of the final two...

Scott Proctor: Alcohol, not Torre’s overuse, derailed career

Scott Proctor is attempting to land back on a Major League roster this season with the defending World Series champion San Francisco Giants. He hasn’t had any measure of success in the league since 2007, when he played for the rival Dodgers. Prior to that, he had what could be a described as a love-hate relationship with New York Yankees fans, as he was the most used pitcher on...

San Jose lawsuit coming against Giants to facilitate A’s move?

San Jose city councilman Sam Liccardo quite understandably is getting pissed off about the handling of the A’s proposed move to San Jose. After all, it’s been four years since Bud Selig commissioned a “Blue Ribbon Panel” to look into the move. Meanwhile, the Giants continue to further complicate the matter by refusing to concede San Jose’s territorial rights to their Bay...

Tempers flared between a pair of competitive managers on Monday over the use of the designated hitter.
