The Giants roster is complete, and they are preparing to open the 2009 season against the divisional rival Washington Redskins on Sunday at the Meadowlands. There is some good news and some bad news for the GMen and some interesting subplots for the game this weekend.
The most interesting story this weekend happened when the Redskins signed quarterback Andre Woodson, who was recently released by the Giants, to their practice squad. Woodson was with the Giants throughout camp and the preseason and should have a vast knowlege of what the Giants will be trying to do offensively on Sunday. Tom Coughlin thinks that the Redskins brought Woodson in as a "spy" but Jim Zorn and the Redskins brass deny this claim. Coughlin says the Giants will now be switching up audibles so Woodson cannot give the Redskins intel.
