That deep and talented bench that the Mavericks have still will be tlented for tonight's game.
It just won't be deep.
Quinton Ross (lower back) and Drew Gooden (right rib cage muscle) both will sit out against New Orleans. With the assorted other injuries, the Mavericks are down to 10 healthy players that will suit up.
Not sure who will replace Ross in the starting lineup, but don't be surprised if it's Matt Carroll, based on New Orleans starting 6-7 Mo Peterson at shooting guard. Then again, J.J. Barea makes some sense as he could try to match up with Chris Paul and let Jason Kidd play the bigger Peterson.
