Myles Crosby is a senior safety at Colleyville Heritage High School (TX) and has committed to play football next season for June Jones at Southern Methodist University. Crosby is also ranked as the 11th-best model in the world, according to models.com. Crosby has graced the pages of Esquire, GQ, and Vanity Fair since breaking into the industry a year ago, but he is willing to forgo the fame and money of a modeling career in favor of college football.“I’m told I’m so stupid by every single person,” Crosby said. “That every single person in my shoes should drop out of school now and go make the money."Crosby tallied 108 tackles, 13 pass breakups, and two forced fumbles last season.“I have a passion for football and I want an education,” Crosby said. “This modeling crap could only last another year and then I’d have no education and never get to play football. I’d regret it for the rest of my life.”One director of a major modeling agency projected that the young star could easily earn an annual income of six-figures if he chose to pursue a modeling career full-time. Apparently, Crosby's decision wasn't based on financial implications alone.Crosby will sign a national letter of intent to play football for the Mustangs on Wednesday.Via Dallas News
