Hugh Douglas, a former Philadelphia Eagles defensive end and ESPN NFL analyst, has been arrested in Hartford, CT for allegedly attaching a woman at a hotel. Douglas has been charged with third degree assault and second degree strangulation according to WFSB-TV. While Court papers state Douglas grabbed the woman by the neck and slammed her into the wall several times, Douglas told police that the victim’s injuries occured during “rough sex.” Douglas joined ESPN in 2011 after a ten year career spent with the New York Jets and Philadelphia Eagles.  He was fired from ESPN  after a incident with “Numbers Never Lie” co-host Michael Smith.

Chip Kelly to Peyton Manning: ‘We’ll Go Play In A Parking Lot’

Chip Kelly wants Peyton Manning to know that regardless of how much rest the Broncos and Eagles have gotten, the two teams can get it on anywhere. After Monday nights victory over the Raiders, Manning called out the NFL for what he perceived as preferential scheduling for the Eagles. “We’re coming off of a short week — it’s nice of the NFL to give Philly 12 days and give...

An Open Letter To Chip Kelly

We at Eagles Faithful are a blog for the people. Every now and then, we will take the time to let our twitter followers write something that they are truly passionate about. In this case, Nate Allen. Good friend of the blog, and the whole Philly Faithful team, is @JasonAAV. Jason has been very outspoken about his disdain for Eagles safety Nate Allen. After the Chargers game, Allen’s...

Eagles slide to No 19 in PFT power rankings

QB Michael Vick took a beating at the hands of the Chiefs defense and the fast tempo seemed to only help Kansas City. Vick looked like the 2011-12 version, and that's not a good thing.

Faster doesn't mean more for Eagles

The purpose of Chip Kelly's fast-paced offense is to run as many plays as possible in the shortest amount of time to maximize scoring potential. It worked for two quarters. Since cramming 53 plays into the first half of their season opener, the Philadelphia Eagles have run 145 plays in the last 10 quarters. Not coincidentally, they beat Washington 33-27 in Week 1 and lost the...

CB Brandon Hughes was released from the Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles have released cornerback Brandon Hughes, the club said Saturday. Vinny Curry: Playmaker

Yup, this is happening. The crusade to get Vinny Curry more playing time has begun. Vinny Curry is a playmaker. Last week I wrote about the curious case of Vinny Curry. Now, I’ve begun to trumpet my support of Curry. I am fully aware that the 2nd year end only played 12 snaps versus the Kansas City Chiefs, but did you see what he did? One sack, one tackle, and applied pressure...

Fantasy Football: Game of the Week Preview

If hockey is considered the fastest game on Earth and lacrosse is the fastest game on two feet, this Sunday's matchup between Eagles and Broncos will be the fastest game on Earth, on two feet without sticks. Chip Kelly's up-tempo offense was truly revealed to the league when his Eagles snapped off 77 plays against Washington in Week 1. However, it has been also determined...

Week Four Rankings

Week Four Rankings Michael Vick – Vick finds himself near the top of rankings once again this week as the Eagles head to Denver in what should be a shoot-out. The Eagles should lose this game handily but should see plenty of garbage time production. Hopefully the Broncos don’t cause too many fumbles or picks which could tarnish Vick’s potential fantasy production. Josh Gordon...
