Fox Sports Florida:
Miami's win over Florida on Saturday propelled the Hurricanes into the Associated Press top 25 poll.
The Hurricanes are ranked 15th in Sunday's poll after a 21-16 win over the Gators on Saturday at Sun Life Stadium. Miami had received votes in last week's poll, putting the Hurricanes at No. 26.
Miami is ranked in the AP poll for the first time since November 2010.
Florida, meanwhile, dropped six spots to No. 18. The Gators are heading into a bye week after giving up five turnovers to Miami.
Florida State remains at No. 10. The Seminoles did not play Saturday, as they had an early bye following a 41-13 rout at Pittsburgh on Monday to open the season. The Seminoles will play host to Nevada in their home opener on Saturday.
Alabama remains the nation's top team, followed by Oregon. Clemson moved up a spot to No. 3, followed by Ohio State and Stanford.
The SEC still has four teams in the top 10: No. 1 Alabama, No. 6 Texas A&M, No. 8 LSU and No. 9 Georgia. South Carolina slipped to No. 13 after a 41-30 loss to Georgia.
The coaches' poll will be released later Sunday afternoon.

Last week, Clemson represented the ACC by defending its home turf against the then-fifth-ranked Georgia Bulldogs. Today, Miami (FL) did the same, knocking off the Florida Gators in one of the biggest non-conference matchups of the year. Both results apparently excite Tigers coach Dabo Swinney.
According to CUTigers.com’s Greg Wallace, Swinney threw up the “U” symbol on the...
It's hard to win a football game committing five turnovers.
It's impossible when three of those turnovers occur inside the red zone.
The Florida Gators found that out in Sun Life Stadium Saturday. The Gators five turnovers cost them in a 21 to 16 loss to Miami.
The numbers say Florida should have dominated this game.

Florida finished the game with 413 total yards against Miami's 212. Florida went 6 for 15 on third downs, Miami went just 1 for 11. How on earth did Florida not win this game? Under Will Muschamp, Florida has won ugly and their dirty little secret (well maybe not that much of a secret) is that they simply aren't built to come from behind.
Losses to in-state rivals cut deeper than other defeats. After losing badly to Miami, are the Gators still the top team in Florida?
MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (AP) -- Stephen Morris threw two first-quarter touchdown passes, and Miami took advantage of Florida giving the ball away on four red-zone opportunities on the way to knocking off the 12th-ranked Gators 21-16 on Saturday.
Duke Johnson added a 2-yard touchdown run with 3:29 left to make it 21-9 Miami (2-0), which has won four straight games for the first time...
Sebastian the Ibis was especially fired up as he welcomed the team to Sun Life Stadium for the Miami Hurricanes vs Florida Gators showdown.
Trying to take the emotion out of the loss, here are some quick thoughts on issues facing the Florida Gators after losing to Miami 21-16. The Gators racked up yards and there were some decent things on both sides of the ball, but in the end there were some glaring things that need to be addressed moving forward.
The Florida Gators attempted a two-point conversion in the first half against the Miami Hurricanes, and this fail gif is the result.

The Gators take their SEC-tough defense down to Miami Gardens to battle for supremacy in the Sunshine State. Both of these schools have bigger rivalries with Florida State but make no mistake, there is a lot on the line here. They may only battle each other intermittently on the field as of late, but they go to war all year long on the recruiting...
MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. -- The Gators thrived at possessing the ball during the 2012 season, but on Saturday at Sun Life Stadium, that success was a distant memory. Florida fumbled three times and threw two interceptions. The Gators outgained Miami by 201 yards and dominated time of possession but did themselves in by turning the ball over.
Every week of the college football season, we check in to see how a fanbase in handling either a tough loss or an unexpected loss. Today, we check on the Florida Gators fanbase after an unexpected loss to Miami. And in their opinion, it’s time to pull the plug on the Will Muschamp era.
